Field set for WCRHL 2019-2020 Conference Championships tomorrow!

With great anticipation, the puck is set to drop on the WCRHL 2019-2020 Conference Championships at 8:00am Pacific time tomorrow morning.  The event will take place at Corona Inline in Corona, CA, and will yield champions in 4 divisions.

In Division I, Arizona State University will face California State University Fullerton in a best 2-of-3 series. Game times are Saturday at 4pm and 8pm, and game 3 (if necessary) is scheduled for Sunday at 10am.  These 2 teams have met 5 times this season, with Arizona State sweeping the season series. However, 3 of the games were within 2-3 goals.

In Division II, the top 3 teams will play a 4 game round robin on Saturday where they will play each other twice.  Division II play will start at 9am on Saturday with #2 seed Chico State taking on #3 seed Northern Arizona University.  #1 seed Cal Poly will get in on the action starting at 11am against Northern Arizona.  After round robin, the top 2 teams will go on to play in the Division II Championship Game on Sunday at 11am.  Should the Division I Game 3 not be necessary, the Division II Championship Game will bump up into the Sunday 10am time slot.  This decision will be made, teams notified and posted on wcrhl.com at 9pm on Saturday.

In Division III, the top 4 teams will play a 3 game round robin on Saturday where they will play each other once.  Division III play will start at 8am on Saturday with #1 seed Cal Poly Pomona taking on #3 seed UCLA and #2 Seed Arizona taking on #4 seed San Jose State.  All teams will advance to the semifinals, which are scheduled for 5pm and 6pm on Saturday.  The winners of the semis will play in the Division III Championship Game on Sunday at 9am.

Division IV will feature the same format as Division III, starting at 9am on Saturday with #1 seed Arizona State University facing #3 seed California State University Fullerton.  #2 seed Cal Poly Gold and #4 seed Arizona get in on the action at 10am on Saturday.  The Division IV semifinals are scheduled for 6pm and 7pm on Saturday.  The winners of the semis will play in the Division IV Championship Game on Sunday at 9am.
