Farmingdale Green defeats UMass, will meet Slippery Rock in Division 4 Finals. After suffering a 4-3 loss to the University of Massachusetts on Friday night, Farmingdale Green extracted revenge by grabbing a 5-3 win on Saturday. Farmingdale players Joseph Salavec and Ryan Murray each scored twice in the game.

Their victory means the Rams will take on Slippery Rock in the Division 4 Regional Championship later tonight for the second straight season. Farmingdale Green will be in search of their third straight D4 Regional Championship while Slippery Rock looks for their first title since 2014.

This Regional Championship game will mark the fourth time this season that the clubs are playing each other. In their three previous meetings, Matthew Vrankovich of Slippery Rock has registered a total of seven goals and one assist. Overall, the Pride have outscored Farmingdale during those matchups by a count of 17-7. Outside of exhibition and non-conference games, Slippery Rock is the only team Farmingdale Green lost to during the regular season.
