Kansas State to host first-ever collegiate roller hockey games in Kansas!

Exciting news for the Kansas State Inline Hockey Club and for roller hockey in the Great Plains!!!
The brand new multi-purpose rink in the MAC gym in the Chester E. Peters Rec Complex will play host to the first-ever collegiate roller hockey games in the great state of Kansas!  Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Kansas State University, the Kansas State University Inline Hockey Club, its players and faculty advisor/coach/mentor Jerry Remsbecker, the rink is now open and ready for action!

Action kicks off Saturday at 10am with Kansas State facing off against GPCIHL rival Maryville University.  These 2 teams have already met this season, with Kansas State skating away with an 8-3 victory.  Starting at noon on Saturday are the inter-regional matchups, with University of Colorado-Colorado Springs facing Texas State University.  Kansas State goes on to face Missouri S&T, UCCS, Washington University and Texas State University to close out the weekend.

Anybody nearby should come out and cheer for any one of these collegiate roller hockey teams - but you can bet there will be a lot of purple in the building this weekend!
