Division I Final Four Preview

Division I Final Four Preview

Game 1: Lindenwood University vs. Hofstra. 12:15pm EST

Lindenwood has been the number one team all year in the NCRHA and they have proved why most of the tournament. Undefeated so far, behind the wall known as Kevin Dwyer and scoring of nearly every player on the team. They're balanced attack of elite players and deep bench make them nearly impossible to skate an entire game with. However, the Hofstra pride seem like a team of destiny. Game after game they have showed why they are ECRHA regional champions. Their tough, whatever it takes mentality lead them to the huge upset of Michigan State last night in overtime. No doubt, they will not roll over for anyone, especially Lindenwood.

Game 2: UNLV vs. Neumann. 1:15pm EST.

The Knights and Rebels are no strangers to one another as they have already met once this week, as Neumann prevailed 3-0. Neumann is as deep and fast as any team here, including the Rebels. They play a fast style and have a plethora of individuals who can make a big play at anytime, in particularly John Lucente and Shane Fox. Their goalie has been the backbone of the defense and will look to continue his dominance today. On the flip side, UNLV should be referred to as the cardiac kids form here on out. Having pulled out two close playoff games yesterday by the skin of their teeth. The Rollin' Rebs' Sam Braniff was the hero against Bethel as he buried a gorgeous pass form Austin Shannon a few minutes into overtime to send UNLV to their third straight final four.
