2014 National Championships Underway - 2015 Location Announcement Thursday at 5pm!

If you're following the 2014 National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships on Facebook and Twitter or on the live stream by MyOwnSports, courtesy of Mission Hockey, then you've already seen/read of some great action today.  All 20 Division II teams faced off this morning starting at 7:00am Eastern, and in those 10 games there were 6 decided by 2 goals or less, and the biggest wins were 2 games won by 4 goals (CSU Fullerton defeated Central Michigan 6-2, Florida defeated Colorado 5-1).  There is some great hockey going on, and we are in our 2nd hour of Division I games as well, with Northeastern defeating Florida Gulf Coast 4-3 in overtime, Pittsburgh defeating Temple 7-2, Grand Valley leading Arizona State 3-2 early in the 3rd period and UC Santa Barbara with the early 1-0 lead against Eastern Michigan.

We have already heard from event attendees that the IceWorks Skating Complex is a great facility, some of those comments coming from alumni that participated in 2012 event at the Utah Olympic Oval.

The NCRHA has set up a teaser table, with 3 possible locations for the 2015 National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships.  In the picture shown, California, Utah and Missouri are the 3 choices.  The NCRHA has previously held championship events in each of these 3 states, and will be returning to one in 2015.  The formal announcement will be made at the IceWorks Skating Complex on Thursday April 10, 2014 at 5:00pm Eastern.  It will also be followed by an article here on www.NCRHA.org and the NCRHA Facebook and Twitter.
