Division II Brackets are set!

After the 3 game round robin, all Division II teams have earned their seedings and are now set in the single-elimination brackets.  After an hour of Division 3, top pool round robin games, the Division II brackets will begin.

4 teams have earned a 1st round bye.  The rest will play in the first round tonight or tomorrow morning.

Some notable finishes in the Division II round robin include:

• Farmingdale, Saint Joseph's, Cortland and Massachusetts all go 3-0 to finish 1st in their pools
• Pool E finished with a 3-way tie for 1st place, with Stony Brook, Boston and UC Santa Cruz going 2-1.  (Boston's NCAA ice hockey team also earned a berth in the Frozen Four Championship Game by defeating North Dakota yesterday by a score of 4-3)
• Teams such as UC San Diego, Western Michigan, UC Irvine and Illinois State struggled in round robin play against other highly-seeded teams, but should still come out strong and possibly favorites in their first round playoff matches.
