2nd Semester Approaches: Spotlight on West Valley College
WCRHL to post Spotlight Articles on each team leading up to their 1st event of the 2nd semester

The lone junior college team in the WCRHL, the West Valley Vikings play a schedule across all WCRHL divisions. Vikings currently sit at 4-3-1, but with very good games overall. Take their first game of the season, a 5-4 win against WCRHL’s top Division 3 team Cal Poly Pomona. Also later in the 1st semester, a 5-4 shootout loss. Both great games. West Valley is led by Chase Edwards, notching 12 goals and 6 assists in 8 games. He is followed by Robbie Lulich and Joshua Viller with 10 points apiece. In fact, nationally, after 4 Henry Ford players with great numbers after 10 games, West Valley holds the next 8 spots!
Their second semester schedule is posted, starting with this weekend with games against Chico State (D2), San Jose State (D3) and UC Santa Barbara (D3). They’ll complete their regular season on Feb. 15-16 in Huntington Beach, CA with 5 games against D2, D3, and D4 teams.
