2 events kick off the 2nd half of the season

Events in California and Michigan kick off the 2nd half of the collegiate roller hockey season.  UC Santa Barbara plays host to 3 other WCRHL Division I teams, while 5 MCRHL Division I teams converge on Grandville, MI.  

 

The West Coast weekend is highlighted by the Coastal Clash, held on Friday night, where 3 showcase games between UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo will take place.  The B Division teams play at 6pm and 8pm, with the Division I teams squaring off at 7pm.  Play continues on Saturday and Sunday with more Division I action, including UNLV and Long Beach State, as well as undefeated Division II team CSU Fullerton, Saddleback College, and B Division teams from UCSB, Cal Poly, CSU Fullerton and UC Irvine.

 

In Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Grand Valley State all look to put the 1st blemish on Michigan State's 12-0 record. Michigan State's B Green team is currently 9-0 as well, and looks to be a favorite, outscoring its opponents by 113-16 in 9 games.
