Robert Morris made the move to Division 1 this season and found success right away, but it wasn't easy. Trailing 5-3 with under a minute to play, the Colonials found the net twice to force overtime.
David Stragar scored at the 11:28 mark of the third, before Sean Lawrence tied things with just :16 second to play in the contest.
In overtime, Lawrence found the back of the net on the first shot of the extra session to earn the victory.
In other Division I debuts, Massachusetts fresh of a Division II National Championship skated past Hofstra 5-1. Cortland struggled in their debut against a high powered Farmingdale squad, falling 8-1.
All eyes will be on the 4PM tilt between Massachusetts and Neumann, who between the clubs have appeared in 4 national championship games in the past two years, with three titles.
