WCU Roller Hockey Iron Man

Dynamic Team Sports will be sponsoring the WCU Roller Hockey Club's adult iron man 4v4 hockey tournament with both a B and D division at United Sports in Downingtown, PA starting at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17th 2015 Entry is $250.00 per team and will be collected before any team steps onto the floor. Refreshments will also be served during the tournament for all participants.

The team that wins the tournament in the Upper Division will receive a $500 cash prize The team that wins the tournament in the Lower Division will receive a $250 cash prize Minimum of 6 teams in your division to be eligible for cash prize listed above. Dynamic Team Sports T-shirts will be given to winners of the divisions. WCU Roller Hockey T-shirts and Custom Workout Shorts will be available for purchase during the event.

All Proceeds of the shorts and shirts will help fund NCRHA National Championships 2015.

Game Rules: There will be Round Robin Games then a Seeded Single Elimination playoff round (All Teams will make playoffs) Each team will consist of 4 skaters and 1 goaltender. Games will be 8 minutes long (running clock). The outside netting is considered in-play. All penalties will result in a penalty shot. The clock continues to run during a penalty shot. Both teams will be required to stay behind the blue line during the penalty shot. After the initial shot on a penalty shot, the puck is considered in-play. A puck out of play will be given to the non-offending team at the referee's discretion. There is a 5-goal mercy rule. Each team will receive 0 points for a loss, 5 points for a tie, 10 points for a win, 1 additional point for each point in the margin of victory, and 2 points for a shutout during round robin play. Playoff ties will go to sudden death OT. Teams must be dressed and waiting for their next game the game prior, result in hold up of tournament will be an automatic forfeit.
