In B Division play, Rowan has been unstoppable this season, starting the regular season with seven consecutive victories. Including the preseason, Rowan remains a perfect 10-0-0 this season. Backstopping Rowan in goal is first year goaltender Dan Nathanson,.
This past weekend, Nathanson put together a nearly perfect weekend in the net, stopping 33 of 35 shots for a crazy .942 save percentage. Nathanson earned three victories this weekend, a pair coming via shut out (Hofstra 3-0 & Stony Brook 11-0).
Perhaps his biggest performance came against Temple, in what some were calling "The battle of the Owl". After Temple scored a pair of power play goals in the first period to end the frame leading 2-1, Nathanson turned it on stopping the final 12 attempts on net, allowing Rowan to take control and win the contest 5-2.
