The University of Pittsburgh swept a weekend double header with Brockport and defeated Temple to improve to 6-1-0 on the season and into second place in the ECRHA.
Over the weekend, Ralph DeStefano lead the charge for Pittsburgh, scoring 9 goals and 3 assists for 12 points. A model of consistency on the weekend, DeStefano scored 3 goals and 1 assist in each game to reach those impressive totals. Pittsburgh's victories didn't come easy, as two games were decided by just two goals.
