Glastonbury, CT - Michael Migliaro had three points (1g,2a) and Steve Gonzales had two goals to lead West Point past Hofstra 6-4 on Saturday morning.

Gonzales (Madison, AL) struck first for the Black Knights, scoring unassisted on the Power Play for a 1-0 lead over halfway through the first period. Nick Stortini (Dearborn, MI) extended the lead two minutes later, burying a Migliaro (Wallingford, CT) feed into the back of the net. Matt Ketcham (Bohemia, NY) got Hofstra back within one when he scored his seventh goal of the season in the final minute of the first period.

Matthew Riopelle (Fargo, ND) scored the lone goal of the second period to give West Point a 3-1 lead heading into the decisive final frame.

Todd Graham (Anchorage, AL) got things going in a wild third period, scoring a Power Play tally off Migliaro's second assist of the game for a 4-1 lead. Ketcham and Gonzales then exchanged their second goals of the game, less than a minute apart to maintain a three goal margin at 5-2. Migliaro scored what would be the final West Point goal at 4:55 of the third period for a four goal lead and their largest lead of the game.

Hofstra didn't go quietly, scoring two more times in the final seven minutes of the game but it wouldn't be enough to overcome the West Point advantage. Pat Rosa (Bohemia, NY) scored his fourth goal of the season, this one on the Power Play and Angelo Dilan (Smithtown, NY) scored his third of the season to round out the scoring.

Bradford Witt (West Point, NY) made 23 saves in net for the Black Knights, earning his first victory of the season, while Andre Robitaille (Longmeadow, MA) took the loss for Hofstra, making 34 saves.
