Harrisburg, PA - Victor Masino stole the show, scoring five goals to lead Rutgers past West Point 6-3 one night after getting handed a 9-1 loss.

It didn't take long for things to get started, with Rutgers getting on board early when Matt Schwakoff beat the West Point goalie for a 1-0 lead. Mitch Day answered right back with a snipe on the power play, beating the glove hand and placing the puck just under the crossbar. Victor Masinos finished the flurry of goals, with a slap shot that found space between the goalies legs and flew into the net for a 2-1 Rutgers lead. Brian Tumolillo was determined not to go into the intermission down a goal and when the oppurtunity can he made no mistake, burying the rebound off a Todd Graham shot to knot the game at two.

Victor Masino put Rutgers in front 3-2 when he scored his second power play goal of the game, through a screen in front. Michael Migliaro then tied things up, slamming home a Nick Stortini pass with just under two to play in the period, setting up a decisive third period.

After almost a half of period of back and forth play, Victor Masino finally broke the draw, making a nice move down to the beat the goalie to the far post on the backhand for a 4-3 lead. Things got hairy from there, but when Victor Masino found the empty net for his fourth goal of the game and clinched the victory, Rutgers could finally relax.

In the first game of the back-2-back, Michael Migliaro scored 3 goals and dished out three assists to lead West Point to a 9-1 blow out victory over Rutgers.
