Harrisburg, PA - Tyler Walser scored three goals and added an assist to lead Buffalo over Rutgers 6-1.

Tyler Walser and Alex Durinka scored six minutes apart to stake Buffalo to a 2-0 lead in the first period over Rutgers. In the final minutes of the period Shaun Golden got his second assist of the period, setting up Chris Kendall who scored to increase the lead to three goals.

Jared Reisman got Rutgers on the scoreboard after accepting a Matt Schwakoff pass and firing a wrist shot over Alex Christie left shoulder. However, Buffalo's lethal power play found the back of the net when Durinka and Walser hooked up and put Buffalo back on top 4-1. Christ Kendall found the net for the second time with Buffalo up a man to close out the scoring in the second period.

Tyler Walser finished off a hat trick scoring after a nice play by Alex Christie to throw the puck up and start the rush. Christie made 15 saves in earning the victory in goal and Chris Cisek made 27 saves in taking the loss.
