Rutgers Extends Unbeaten Streak To 17

Feasterville, PA – Robbie Fulton scored a hat trick and
added 2 assists while helping Rutgers extend its region best, 17 game unbeaten
streak.
Fulton
scored two first period goals for the Scarlet Knights (13-0-1) and Jared
Reisman (1g) scored the game winner with the man advantage in the third period.
Ryan McCoyd made 23 saves in earning his lead leading 13th
victory of the season. Dave Bord made 15 saves in a losing effort for Rhode Island (8-3-2).
For the game, Rhode Island
held a 27-20 shot advantage.
Brendan Nelson (2g,1a) and Justin Lundh (1g,2a) had good
individual performances for the Rams in the loss.
Rhode Island returns to
action in the morning against Pittsburgh (2-10-0),
while Rutgers will square off against the
defending national champion, the Lindenwood Lions (9-0-0) next Saturday.
