Buffalo Powers Past Rhode Island 6-3
West Chester Outlasts Shippensburg 7-5

Feasterville, PA – Alex Durinka’s four point game helps Buffalo rally past Rhode Island in the much anticipated morning tilt between the high powered teams. Durinka’s (2g,2a) power play tally in the second help cut a 2-0 deficit in half and start the Buffalo (12-2-0) rally.
Richie Latona added 21 in picking up the victory in net. Dave Board made 28 saves while allowing 6 goals in the losing effort.
Buffalo’s four power play tallies were the difference maker in handing the Rams (7-2-2) only their second loss of the season.
Rhode Island will look to rebound at 6:30pm against Penn State who is coming off a 10-3 win over Nassau. Buffalo will be taking on the Black Knights from West Point, also 6:30pm.
In Division II action, West Chester got goals from six different players, including two from Tim Saraceni enroute to a 7-5 victory over intrastate rival Shippensburg. Brian Scott was outstanding in net for West Chester (11-1-1), making 36 in picking up the victory.
Kyle Grizzard scored two goals and chipped in two assists for the Raiders (8-3-1) who lost for the first time in six games. Tyler Anderson made 20 saves in the loss.
Shippensburg returns to action against the Maine Black Bears at 4:30 in a rematch of last years thrilling regional quarterfinal game. West Chester will be back in action tonight at 10:30 against intrastate rival Millersville.
