Weekend #2

The Bear is unleashed.  After a long hibernation, the Missouri State bear came out of hibernation, albeit not having slept through the summer, and played two sound games November 17th.  In the first game, the Bears struggled early with the St. Louis University Billikens, but then were lead to victory 7-1 by a stellar performance from Dan Tardiff and Cole Murphy.  Later that day, the bears handled Western Kentucky 11-1 victory.  It was a farewell game.  The Hilltoppers from Western Kentucky would fold at the end of the semester.  Moreover, it was a farewell game for Josh Wilkes (mid-term graduation) and Paul McIntyre.  Paul was compelled to leave school to tend to the ongoing needs of parenting and his leadership and desire are missed by the Bears.
