Towson Tigers Receive Humanitarian Award

Dana K. and the Towson Roller Hockey Club

On October 8, 2006 the Towson University Roller Hockey Club received the All-Sport Marketing Humanitarian Recognition Award.  The award was presented to the club for their contributions to the Dana K. Fund.  In 2005 the club raised and donated $1200 to Dana K. Fund to fight Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  This year the club raised an estimated $500.  In addition Dana K. was presented with an authentic Towson Roller Hockey home jersey back in 2005 and an authentic Division I team alternate jersey this year.  The club will continue to work with the Dana K. Fund for the rest of the 2006-2007 season and beyond.
