Chris Pendagast in action versus Cornell.

After battling inconsistency and playing without much fire throughout the first 10 games of the season Maine finally put it together at All-Star weekend in Feasterville, PA.  After skating to an early lead against #1 Neumman things started to breakdown as they have all year and Maine found itself down 6-3 in the third period.  Instead of packing it in however they responded with four goals in the last six minutes, the last a Chris Pendagast powerplay goal to defeat Neumman 7-6.  It was Maines first win ever against the Knights.  That momentum would carry over to three more victories; Cornell 7-3, Vermont 9-4, and West Chester 5-3.  Going into its final 4 games in Glastonbury, CT, Maine has 16 points and could conceiveably wind up anywhere from 5th to 11th in what is probably the deepest ever ECRHA playoffs.
