The old saying is; "all good things have to come to an end."

For over 2 seasons the Lions varsity roller hockey squad hadn't realized what it was like to lose. The 64 game unbeaten streak was snapped by Meramec C.C. on November 20th by the score of 4-2.

"It was kind of a shock to lose. Maybe we got to comfortable or started listening to much to the winning streak. But now we get to start a new win streak," said sophomore Greg Thompson.

Greg Thompson and Jeff Hill lead the Lions in scoring so far this season with 16 points each. Thompson has 8 goals and 8 asssists, while freshman Jeff Hill has 12 goals and 4 assists. Sophomore Tommy Bruce has scored 10 goals with 15 assists. The other freshman standout is Travis Fudge who has 6 goals and 6 assists.

A trio of goaltenders Ryan Viamontes, Mike Browne, and Brian Coleman have played solid so far for the Lions.
